A girl can only hope, so don't get too excited, Apple Watch owners. No, there isn't currently an Apple Watch app for WhatsApp. We 2 million or so WhatsApp users will instead need to find another method of reading and responding to communications while on the go, and I'm here to walk you through it in detail.

Sadly, it won't be as easy as replying to an iMessage from your watch even if you have one of the finest Apple Watches available. The Apple Watch is one of the finest smartwatches on the market, so it may in some ways act as an extension of your iPhone.

Unfortunately, there are currently no indications that Meta has approved message synchronisation. So, it's a little difficult.

I've provided instructions below on how to read WhatsApp messages on your Apple Watch and respond to them without taking your phone out of your bag. You will still need to search for your phone in order to view the adorable pictures of your dog at daycare because there is still no way to watch media from your Apple Watch screen.

How to set up your Apple Watch to receive WhatsApp alerts

Even though WhatsApp doesn't have an Apple Watch software, you can still see message notifications pop up on your watch. You must turn on iPhone alerts in order to accomplish this. This is how.

•  Make sure Notifications to your Lock Screen are turned on by going to Settings, Notifications, and then WhatsApp.

• then access the iPhone's Watch programme.

• Make sure WhatsApp is turned on by scrolling through the Mirror iPhone Alerts From section at the bottom.

Following these instructions will enable you to view WhatsApp alerts on your Apple Watch while you're on the go. The message will be displayed on your Watch for you to view. Picture and video messages, on the other hand, will be hazy because there isn't a way to watch them from your Watch without using a third-party app; more on that later.

How to respond to texts on WhatsApp using your Apple Watch

Now that you can read every message in that group chat from your Watch, how do you respond to them? We'll let you determine if that's a good thing. If you need to respond quickly, you can choose from pre-suggested texts like "Hello," "What's Up?" "OK," or "On my way" when the notification appears on your watch.

If you have a lot to say, you can record a message on the watch's built-in microphone and email it back right away. Use the keyboard instead; it is fairly small, particularly if you have an Apple Watch with a 41mm case, but it gets the job done.

How to use your Apple Watch to share WhatsApp messages

You'll need to use a third-party app to exchange messages from your Apple Watch. There are a few, but our current favourite is WatchChat2, which is available in both free and paid versions. To access the app's complete functionality, you must pay $2.99.

You can view and respond to WhatsApp messages as well as view pictures and videos using this user-friendly app. The steps below make it easy to install and use:

• Open the Watch programme on your iPhone and navigate to the App Store.

• Look up and get WatchChat2

• Open the programme on your Apple Watch after downloading it.

• On your iPhone, launch WhatsApp and select Settings, WhatsApp Online, then Scan QR Code.

• Scanning the code on the Apple Watch should link the two at this point.

As a reminder, you should keep this third-party app updated to make sure the functionality is up to standard. While it might not be ideal, for the time being, this is the best method to respond to messages while on the go because, as far as we know, there are no rumours about a WhatsApp Apple Watch app arriving anytime soon.
